Practical Remake Evaluation

Overall, the practical remake activity went well. We selected to interpret the film Gone Girl out of the title sequences we watched, because it had an influential title sequence which made us enthusiastic to do our own. Our remake consisted of a range of shots which was instructed by the planning we had previously made, using a shot list. However in future, I would've preferred to use a storyboard planning method rather than a shot list, as when it came to editing, it became difficult to select the shots in the correct order. Another improvement I would make would be to manage our time more carefully - we went to far distant locations which caused us to delay the finished product deadline. Even though the title sequence didn't identically match the original one, I think all the shots came out well and it was clear what atmosphere we were trying to convey.The prologue turned out well too as it matched the original title sequence.
