1. Animated Films
I love the way animated films can go beyond the limits of reality. It is flexible from the way characters look like to the imaginative scenery of the film. I mostly watch mostly Studio Ghibli and The Walt Disney Co. productions, such as, 'Howl's moving castle'. However, my all-time favourite, since childhood has to be ''Coraline' 2009. It is simply a beautiful film in terms of the plot. I must confess after the fifth time watching it, it had left me emotionally touched with tears! I also have a strong passion in drawing animated film characters, in the style called 'manga', so for me it's interesting to watch how other people animate them - it's an art form! You can learn a lot from the features of a characters face which reveals certain elements of the film.
2. Comedy
Comedies truly brighten up my day. If I've had a bad day, they will always bring me happiness and make me realise that there's always something to laugh about. My preference of comedies films includes 'Big Momma's House', 'Brides Maids' and 'The Inbetweeners Movie'. I would recommend them to anyone that loves comedies like I do!
3. Horror
And Finally Horror - my absolute favourite genre! I love the suspense of horror films, not knowing what to expect, the twisted plot, everything about horrors give me adrenaline.Even though many of my friends hate horrors as it leaves them with nightmares for days, I think it is good because it leaves you thinking about the film, questioning whether the scenario is realistic. I would recommend watching 'The House at the End of the Street' which stars the famous actress Jennifer Lawrence.
