Overall, I think our Remake went well. However, this was a practise activity, and not the real thing.
Our shots came out well, and they all joined together, like planned, however, when it came to editing, we found that there were not enough shots to create a whole title sequence, including the correct order of titles. To improve this, we will go by the storyboard, and not the shot list.
We all work well as a group, which is good when we are filming as we're not arguing about who should do what, as we've planned it out before. We all have individual roles in the team, and I think this helps us be a little more organised.
The editing proved difficult but we managed to do it in the end, however, looking back over we found that part of the sequence had been moved out of shot. The music was planned beforehand, as the score for the title was easily accessible.
We could have also added in more titles within the dark gaps between the idents, the speaking part/prologue, and the main title sequence. I feel like this would have really created a sense of interest to the audience, and many encourage them to watch it.
What could have been better was if there was more even distribution between editing, filming and planning and maybe switch things up next time, so each person switches their job every 30 mins, and can further develop their skills in a particular area.
