Identifying Genres
Film 1 - Crime and Gangster . I think it is this Genre because the still image shows men in suits with guns , money , drugs, and alcohol which suggests that they are up to no good which is what i would associate with crime and gangsters.
Film 2 - Western. I can tell that this image is from the western times because there is a man in the desert riding a horse which is the typical type of western film.
Film 3 - Action. I choose action for this one because the still image shows a man jumping from car to car in the air, it looks very hectic and exciting which suggests that is is an action movie.
Film 4 - Romance. The still image for this category is very typical to be a romance , this is because it shows a man and a women looking at each other which could mean romance.
Film 5 - War. This fits in with the category war because it shows two men in army outfits in a battlefield.
Film 6 - Comedy. The film Mean Girls , is an American teen comedy.
Film 7 - Adventure . I would say that this film is adventure because it is an animated children's film which is usually adventure.
Film 8 - Science Fiction. I said that this one was Science fiction because the still image shows a male and female in space in space suits which suggests that the film is about Science.
Film 9 - Romance. The still image shows a male and female looking into each others eyes which shows intimacy which links with romance.
Film 10 - Comedy. The still image doesn't show much but from what i can see it looks entertaining and funny.
Film 11 - Drama. I would say that this one is drama because there is a man on the phone looking through the blinds , it looks very mysterious and dramatic.
Film 12 - Horror. I think that this one is a horror because of the camera angle showing the whole scene makes it look suspicious , also the girls face looks scared which could mean it is a horror.
