AS media prelim evaluation activity

AS media prelim evaluation activity

During the prelim project the skills I was particularly good at were the creative side of planning; for example writing the script and planning the story line, I was also good at creating characters and outfits for the characters and the way they react to surroundings whilst filming, also the camera angles. I wasn't as good at acting and holding character, also the technical side of editing although I had an image in mind of what I wanted it to look like. The completed film worked really well on almost every aspect from filming, to editing, to planning, although the acting wasn't to the same standard as the other factors. The changes I would make to the prelim are, more background music and sound effects, also | think we should have utilised the camera angles slightly more. Storyboarding and shot-lists are very important to filming because they give a structured example of what your project will look like and help you to keep on track with what you should be filming, This will be useful for the big production piece where it is much longer and will therefore require more shots, because we will have a plan to stick to and example of what our work will look like before we film it.
