Prelim Evaluation
The skills I have developed during the prelim project were planning, filming and editing. I really enjoyed planning because it allowed me to be creative and expand my ideas. The planning stage went well because we was all very organised and knew exactly what we was doing when it come to filming. During filming I learnt a lot of new skills , for example how to do match cuts and to ensure I did not break the 180 degree rule. Another important skill I learnt was how to edit clips to exactly how i wanted them to look which was very successful. I think our group was very successful when it come to filming because we made sure we included everything in the prelim, for example the 180 degree rule, match cuts and shot reverse shots. The skills we were good at was working in a team and all helping each other whilst filming and contributing with ideas. We were also good at completing all tasks on time and meeting deadlines which is very important. I think the completed film worked very well , this is because everything flowed in sequence without any mistakes. However the changes I would make if i was doing this project again would be spending more time on planning in a bit more detail because planning is the most important process when creating a trailer.
