Common features of a film opening
A typical convention of a title sequence usually starts with indents and logo's to promote their company's. A good example is Disney who are known worldwide because of their successful indent. After the indent music starts with is to set the tone/ atmosphere of the film, for example if the film is a dramatic film the music will be very tense to set the mood. Also credits which tell us information about who made the film , who directed it, e.c.t. After the credits the film opening tends to start with hints to make the audience want to watch the film and find out more, following on from this the title is usually in the middle on the sequence when the viewers are paying attention the most. The main character is introduced also the location , this is to give the audience an insight of what the film is about.
