Features of a Title Sequence
A title sequence usually starts with idents and logo's for companies to promote their business, then intense music is used to set the atmosphere of the movie and create suspense for the rest of the movie. Credits are used to show producers, actors, directors, photography, music composer etc who participated in the making of the film; credits can be edited to fit the beat of the music which can build suspense.
The main character of the movie is then introduced along with locations and settings of the film; creating foreshadowing of possible settings. Finally the genre and a hint of the storyline can be discovered through the aspects of the film that have been portrayed throughout the title sequence.
